About Combichrist

Combichrist is the project of Norwegian vocalist Andy LaPlegua, formed in Atlanta in 2003 and working in aggrotech and industrial metal. LaPlegua is the sole studio member, with a rotating cast of musicians for live shows. The debut album The Joy of Gunz appeared in 2003, followed by the limited EP Kiss the Blade, which sold out in under a week, and Sex Drogen Und Industrial, which spent weeks atop the Deutsche Alternative Chart. The 2006 single "Get Your Body Beat" reached number 14 on Billboard's Dance Singles chart. Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit joined them for a North American run in 2009, and 2010's Making Monsters brought a support slot for Rammstein at Madison Square Garden.
