Havok is an American thrash metal band from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2004 by vocalist and guitarist David Sanchez, who remains the only original member. Alongside Warbringer, Municipal Waste, and Evile, they are credited with leading the thrash metal revival of the late 2000s and early 2010s, drawing on 1980s thrash and the new wave of British heavy metal while folding in death metal, hardcore punk, and progressive elements. They have released five studio albums, from 2009's Burn through Time Is Up, Unnatural Selection, Conformicide, and 2020's V. After the independent New Eyes EP in 2024, the band signed with BLKIIBLK and released the single "Fifth Generation Warfare," with new music due in 2026.
