Coachella Camping: Safari Campgrounds
Behind the main venue, the Safari Campgrounds are available for festival visitors. There are three options in total: the Safari Tents, the Safari Cabanas, and the Resort. The Safari Campgrounds are impressive, with air conditioning, full furniture, and views of the surrounding mountains. The toilet and shower area are also fully air-conditioned.
Craving a late-night snack? No problem – the safari campgrounds leave little to be desired. Enjoy your drink or bites in the lounge and immerse yourself in the luxury camping world of Coachella.
Rules for Safari Campgrounds
Campers must be over 18 or have a parent or legal guardian accompanying them. Are you arriving with several cars and want to camp next to each other? Then you must arrive at the same time—only then can the tents be arranged as you wish. The camping staff will guide you. Car and tent camping are arranged separately and cannot be merged.
You can bring food and drink with you—glass is prohibited. Propane stoves are only permitted in designated camping areas. There is also a General Store where you can purchase groceries and other needed amenities such as toilet paper, sleeping bags, cooling towels, and more. Which items are prohibited? Safari Tents
How much do Coachella camping passes cost? Prices for safari tents and cabanas range from $9,000 to $12,000. Resort prices need an email inquiry. Currently, the Safari Tents for Week 1 and Week 2 are $11,000.
Safari Cabanas
Prices for the Safari Cabanas are currently $12,000 each for both weekends. The following benefits await you when you book: Two people can stay in one tent or cabana – two more guests can be added. The fee is $3,000 per additional guest.
