James Murphy and LCD Soundsystem are back on the road for a massive 2026 North American tour that kicked off with a spring residency run and continues into an expansive summer and fall stretch. The Brooklyn-born indie dance-punk legends have already wowed crowds in Chicago and Boston, and the best is yet to come — with standout dates at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Shaky Knees Music Festival, and multi-night residencies that give fans the chance to catch the band at their best.

Whether you're a longtime devotee or seeing LCD Soundsystem for the first time, 2026 is the year to make it happen. Here's everything you need to know about the tour — dates, venues, setlists, tickets, and more.

LCD Soundsystem 2026 Tour Details

Before the summer amphitheater run kicks into gear, LCD Soundsystem spent the first half of 2026 doing what they do best: settling into intimate, historic rooms for multi-night stands across the country. Here's how the early-year and spring dates played out.

LCD Soundsystem 2026 Early-Year & Spring Tour Recap

LCD Soundsystem opened 2026 with an impressive spring residency circuit, hitting some of the most storied mid-capacity venues in the country. The band played a four-night residency at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL (March 5–8) in early March before landing in Boston, MA for a celebrated four-night residency at Roadrunner from late April through early May. Additional early-year shows included performances at Belly Up in Aspen, CO, and Napa Music Hall in Napa, CA, with the band also appearing at major California festivals during the spring.

These spring dates showed that LCD Soundsystem remains one of indie rock's most compelling live acts, with its 2026 performances as sharp, energetic, and reliably unpredictable as ever.

Who is Opening for LCD Soundsystem in 2026?

For select summer dates—including the high-profile Red Rocks Amphitheatre shows in Morrison, CO—Feist and Victoryland are confirmed as support acts. Feist, the acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter and indie icon, is a natural fit alongside LCD Soundsystem's art-pop sensibilities. Victoryland rounds out the bill as an emerging act worth arriving early to catch.

Support acts may vary by date and venue. Check the specific event listing for the most current lineup.

How Long Are LCD Soundsystem Concerts?

Based on setlist.fm data from their 2026 spring shows, you can expect an LCD Soundsystem concert to typically run between two and three hours. The band is known for lengthy performances — particularly during multi-night residencies where they change the setlist each night to reward fans who attend multiple shows.

At venues like the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago and Roadrunner in Boston, the band has been delivering 20+ song sets, weaving together fan favorites, deep cuts, and extended live versions of their most beloved tracks. If you're seeing them for the first time, budget the full evening — you won't want to leave early.

LCD Soundsystem 2026 Setlist

The LCD Soundsystem setlist changes night to night, so there are no guarantees — but based on their 2026 spring shows at Aragon Ballroom, Roadrunner, Belly Up, and Napa Music Hall, songs frequently performed during recent shows include:

  • "Dance Yrself Clean"

  • "All My Friends"

  • "New York, I Love You but You're Bringing Me Down"

  • "Someone Great"

  • "North American Scum"

  • "Sound of Silver"

  • "Time to Get Away"

  • "Movement"

  • "On Repeat"

  • "Tribulations"

  • "Yr City's a Sucker"

  • "Home"

  • "I Can Change"

  • "You Wanted a Hit"

  • "45:33" (extended live version)

Multi-night residency dates (like the upcoming New Haven 3-night run) typically feature different setlists each night — one of the best reasons to grab tickets for more than one show.

Why Red Rocks Is the Must-See Date of the 2026 Tour

The August 15–16 shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre are among the highlights of the 2026 summer leg. Red Rocks is one of the most iconic outdoor venues in the world, and LCD Soundsystem's brand of euphoric, bass-heavy dance music was well suited to its natural acoustics and stunning backdrop.

With Feist and Victoryland on the bill, these are two-night events, and demand will be high. Prices on the secondary market reflect the prestige, so expect to pay a premium compared to club and theater dates. If you're looking for one of the tour's signature experiences, Red Rocks is your answer.

LCD Soundsystem at Shaky Knees 2026

On September 20, 2026, LCD Soundsystem will co-headline the Sunday lineup at the Shaky Knees Music Festival alongside Gorillaz (Sunday headliner) and Wu-Tang Clan  in Atlanta, Georgia — capping off the fall leg with a major festival slot. Shaky Knees is one of the premier rock and indie music festivals in the American South, making this a fitting close to an already impressive touring year.

Festival tickets typically provide access to multiple stages and artists, so this is a great option for fans in the Southeast who want a multi-act experience.

Is There a New LCD Soundsystem Album in the Works?

No new album has been officially announced in conjunction with the 2026 tour. This run appears to be a catalog-celebrating campaign, drawing on the full breadth of LCD Soundsystem's discography — which means setlists may reach deeper than ever.

The group's four studio albums (with 45:33, a Nike-commissioned piece, sometimes counted separately) are LCD Soundsystem (2005), Sound of Silver (2007), This is Happening (2010), and American Dream (2017), which became the group's first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

The band previously teased new music with the single "x-ray eyes," though Murphy has kept details close to the chest. In the meantime, the live show remains the main event.

About LCD Soundsystem

Formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2002, LCD Soundsystem was created by James Murphy, the co-founder of the DFA Records label. The group had a huge hit in 2005 with the song "Daft Punk Is Playing At My House" and signed with Columbia Records in 2016.

LCD Soundsystem announced a farewell in 2011 with a farewell concert, only to reunite in 2016 and release American Dream in 2017, which sold the equivalent of 85,000 units in its first week and earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Alternative Music Album, and won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for the single ‘Tonite’ at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards (the category was later renamed Best Dance/Electronic Recording in 2022). Now in their well into their reunion era, LCD Soundsystem continue to rank among the most electrifying live acts in indie and dance music.
