LCD Soundsystem Tour 2024

American electronic rock band LCD Soundsystem will have a residency in LA and NYC with 20 shows this Fall scheduled in Shrine Expo Hall and Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, and Knockdown Center in New York City.

Bandleader James Murphy and the group will be playing the Life Is Beautiful Block Party at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) in Las Vegas on Saturday, September 28, at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles from Thursday, October 31 to Sunday, November 3, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles from Thursday, November 7 through Sunday, November 10, before heading east to their hometown for a three-week New York City residency and 12 dates at the Knockdown Center in Queens from Thursday, November 21 through Sunday, December 15.

For the 2024 tour, LCD Soundsystem will be joined by a number of artists for concerts in Nevada, California, and New York. In Las Vegas, at the 2024 Life Is Beautiful Block Party at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center on September 28, Justice, Jamie XX, Peggy Gou, Toro Y Moi, and Thundercat will help open up for the headliners.

For the four shows at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles from Thursday, October 31 to Sunday, November 3 and the four shows at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles from Thursday, November 7 through Sunday, November 10, there has been no formal announcement of opening acts for this Los Angeles residency, but the last time they had a residency in the City of Angels in 2017, LCD Soundsystem had a DJ opening up for them.

At the 12 shows scheduled this Fall for their New York Residency at the Knockdown Center in Queens, Murphy and LCD Soundsystem will have three different opening acts for the three weekend EDM blocks of shows.

For Thursday, November 21 through Sunday, November 24 concerts, Los Angeles “daytime disco” group Poolside will open the first four nights from New York City. For Thursday, December 5 through Sunday, December 8, Brooklyn punk rockers Gustaf will be the opening act. And, for the last four shows from the Knockdown Center from Thursday, December 12 through Sunday, December 15, it will be the NYC electronic band Fcukers opening up the night in their hometown.
