Shinedown is back on the road in a massive way for 2026. The American hard rock legends have launched the Dance, Kid, Dance Act II World Tour, their most ambitious run yet — spanning over 50 dates across 11 countries, covering North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. The tour kicked off on May 13, 2026 at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon (Green Bay), Wisconsin, and runs all the way through November 22–23, 2026 in Dublin, Ireland.

What makes this tour even more notable is that it coincides with the release of Shinedown's eighth studio album, Ei8ht, released on May 29, 2026 via Atlantic Records. Fans can now hear brand-new tracks from Ei8ht performed live for the very first time, alongside all the classic anthems that have made Shinedown one of rock's most dominant live acts.

Who is Opening for Shinedown in 2026?

Shinedown has assembled a strong lineup of support acts for different legs of the Dance, Kid, Dance Act II World Tour:

• Coheed and Cambria — Joining on approximately 24 North American arena dates, plus all five UK dates (Birmingham, Glasgow, Nottingham, London, and Manchester) in November 2026. This is one of the most anticipated support pairings on the tour.

How Long Are Shinedown Concerts?

Based on Shinedown's track record on Setlist.fm, expect concerts to run approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours for Shinedown's headline set, with around 18–20 songs. On nights with full support act lineups including Coheed and Cambria, the full event can stretch to 3+ hours of live music. 

Shinedown Also Headlining Sonic Temple Festival 2026

One of the early highlights of the tour was Shinedown headlining the Sonic Temple Festival on May 15, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio — one of rock's premier annual festivals. This appearance put Shinedown front and center as one of rock's elite headlining acts alongside a stacked festival lineup.

Later in the tour, Shinedown will also appear at the Lunatic Ball Beach Weekend (October 23–25, Miramar Beach, FL) — a special festival event mid-tour.

About Shinedown

American rock group Shinedown was formed in 2001 by singer Brent Smith after the breakup of his previous band called Dreve when Smith, who was still under contract with Atlantic Records, brought in the original lineup of Jasin Todd (guitar), Brad Stewart (bass), and Barry Kerch (drums). Guitarist Zach Myers joined in 2008, replacing original guitarist Jasin Todd, and has been a core member ever since.
