About Teddy Swims
Teddy Swims isn’t your typical pop star—and that’s kind of the point. Born Jaten Dimsdale in Atlanta, he grew up surrounded by music of all kinds. You can hear that mix in his voice—soul, rock, gospel, R&B—it's all in there. He didn’t blow up overnight, either. He started by covering songs in his bedroom and uploading them to YouTube, just doing what he loved. People noticed, and things started to snowball.
His voice? It's one of those you feel in your chest. Raspy, powerful, full of emotion—but also super tender when it needs to be. He can go from belting a breakup anthem to making you feel like you're the only person in the room during a quiet ballad.
Teddy’s 2023 debut album, I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), gave us a look into his heart—messy emotions, vulnerability, all of it laid bare. And now with Part 2 in 2025, he’s digging even deeper. The songs hit in that way where you think, “Wow, I didn’t know someone else felt like that too.”
The thing about Teddy is, he’s just real. No gimmicks, no ego—just a guy who loves to sing and somehow makes thousands of strangers feel a little less alone. That’s why people show up for him. Not just for the voice, but for the heart behind it
