Who is Tyler, the Creator?
Tyler, The Creator is a Hip Hop star whose real name is Tyler Okonma. Born in Hawthorne, California, Tyler is also a record producer, fashion designer (Golf Wang and Le Fleur), director, and actor and emerged back in 2000 on the internet as a co-founder of the Odd Future music collective.
With Okonma deeming Chromakopia as his eighth studio album, it’s obvious he counts Bastard as his first official studio album. Tyler, the Creator released a new album every two years from 2009 until 2021, and his last release Call Me If You Get Lost, so this new album coming out in 2024 and not in 2025 is a bit of a surprise.
Tyler, the Creator has won three BET Hip Hop Awards, two Grammy Awards, and is the genius behind the music festival called the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, held annually at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California since 2012.

When is Tyler, the Creator Dropping a New Album?
Tyler, The Creator released Chromakopia on October 28, 2024. The album has attributes of hip-hop, R&B, and jazz, with features from Lil Wayne, GloRilla, Santigold, and others. It's uniquely narrated by his mother, Bonita Smith, giving the album a personal, introspective feel.

What is Tyler, the Creator’s New Persona?
If the teasers and cover art are any indication, it seems that we have entered a new era of Tyler, the Creator music complete with a new alter-ego.
Back in 2012, the song “Sam Is Dead” was released by Odd Future, seen as Okonama killed off three of his alter-egos (Ace the Creator, Wolf Haley, and Tron Cat) in an artistic way to creatively find his own freedom.
And that’s what one of the teasers for Chromakopia seems to hint at as we see Tyler, the Creator in the snippet of the video for the new song ”ST. CHROMA”—which creatively mixes whispers and rapping—where we see a masked Tyler leading a march of men through a desert and directing them into a green shipping container with the words “CHROMAKOPIA” on the side before we see him shut the door and then blow the shipping container up.
If this video is any indication of what this new album may be like, then we are all in for a real treat and it will become much clearer what this new masked persona means when the entire album hits the streets and his upcoming Chromakopia: The World Tour gets underway.

Who May Be Featured on Chromakopia?
On DIGITALxDWNLD, four Hip Hop artists were speculated on about possibly having appearances on songs including Westside_Gunn, Kanye West, Travis Scott, and A$AP Rocky. Tyler, The Creator (and Billie Essco) were featured on the Westside Gunn and Joey Bada$$ song “327,” while West (and Lil Wayne) were featured on Tyler’s song "Smuckers".
Should all four of these guys actually be on Chromakopia, expect the album to shoot to No. 1 on the charts and with Tyler, the Creator and Super Bowl halftime performer Kendrick Lamar both so hot right now, expect tickets for the 2025 tour to sell out extremely fast.
If ”ST. CHROMA” and ”Noid”— that include excerpts from the Ngozi Family's “Nizakupanga Ngzo”—are any indication of new songs Tyler, the Creator has in store for us on Chromakopia, then like his best-selling platinum (1 million copies) Call Me If You Get Lost, the new Chromakopia may also end up topping the Billboard charts and eclipse his last 2021 album release in sales.

Appearing with Tyler, the Creator on “Chromakopia: the World Tour” will be Lil Yachty and Paris Texas. Lil Yachty is a 27-year-old rapper from Atlanta, Georgia who exploded onto the scene in 2015 with his viral hit “1Night” off his debut mixtape titled Lil Boat.
Founded in Los Angeles by Louie Pastel and Felix, the alt Hip Hop duo Paris Texas will back up Tyler, the Creator for many dates on his upcoming tour in 2025.

Tyler, the Creator’s 2025 Chromakopia: The World Tour
To promote his new album, Chromakopia, Tyler, the Creator will perform in 2025 with a massive global Tour. The tour will include 53 dates across North America, 24 shows around Europe and the UK, and 12 performances in Oceania, including both Australia and New Zealand. Promoted by AEG Presents, the Chromakopia: The World Tour is Tyler's biggest and most international tour to date.
Tickets for Chromakopia: The World Tour went on sale Friday, November 1 at 10 a.m. local time in each market — and are moving fast.
