“Chappelle, Rock, Burr, Wong, Mulaney, Maniscalco, Kreischer, Hart, Netflix paid them handsomely. And, with whatever money they have left over, they’ve got this guy”

Who is Mark Normand?
Comedians and big egos go hand in hand. They speak without restraint and are too proud to hold back on their word. Mark Normand is different. The 40-year-old comic thrives on clever writing without offending anyone. He jokes about personal experiences, social issues, and sometimes, his wife.
Mark Normand’s Rise to Fame
Mark Normand was born in New Orleans, but moved to New York after college to pursue comedy. He received his first well-deserved recognition in 2011 after Comedy Central named him Comics To Watch for the 2011 New York Comedy Festival. In 2013, he won the 2013 Caroline’s March Madness competition after beating 63 comedians and was voted “Village Voice’s Best Comedian of 2013”.
His well-written punchline and quippy one-liners earned him multiple appearances on Conan, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Late Late Show with James Corden. His latest Netflix special “Soup to Nuts” also receives glowing reviews from critics and audiences, solidifying Mark Normand as one of the best comics to ever pick up the mic.

Mark Normand Shows to Watch
Netflix specials for Comedians are like Super Bow half-time performances for musicians. Those who haven’t got it crave one and those who have done one proudly make fun of themselves for selling their souls to do so. Normand got his wish in 2023 with an hour-long Netflix special titled “Soup to Nuts”. The special was filmed in Chicago, where Mark covered a wide range of taboo topics while delivering top-tier comedy to millions of people behind the small screen.
In addition to performing in comedy clubs and universities, Mark Normand is a social media whiz. He owns a 700,000-subscriber YouTube channel, regularly uploading snippets to his comedy show. His most viewed video, “Out To Lunch” comedy special, was uploaded to his channel 3 years ago and has garnered 12 million views since. Normand also appears on other comedian podcasts even though he does not have one on his own. Normand is featured on “Tuesdays with Stories” and “We Might Be Drunk”, which you can find on both Spotify and Apple Podcast. Short videos of those appearances are re-uploaded on TikTok, YouTube Short, and Instagram for busy fans to enjoy.
