March Madness 2024 is officially over! Here are the championship results. As predicted, South Carolina beat out Iowa to defend the women's title (87-75), and UConn beat out Purdue to defend the men's title (75-60). |
The thrilling end of the 2024 NCAA March Madness tournament is near, with championship games of both men's and women's basketball scheduled for this weekend. Following a number of exciting matches, the best teams will compete in the finals for the longed-for national titles. The men’s championship game will include the victors in the Final Four games expected to be played on April 6, 2024. The teams competing in the Final Four are:

Purdue
NC State
The winners of the following Final Four games will advance to the men's championship game on April 8, 2024:

(1) UConn vs. (4) Alabama

UConn have a chance to defend their title after they beat out Alabama 86-72. They will face Purdue who won 63-50 against NC State.
Women’s Championship

The New York Post and CBS sports analysts have similar NCAA Men and Women’s Champion predictions. It is agreed that UConn is the favorite to win the men’s title, and South Carolina is favored to secure the women’s championship. More precisely:
Men's Championship: Uconn vs. Purdue. UConn is favored to win, with Cam Spencer as the X-factor and UConn having a record of 35 wins in a single season.
Women's Championship: South Carolina vs. Iowa. South Carolina is the favorite, as they have won the NCAA Tournament twice, in 2017 and 2022.
