Why Was the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul Fight Rescheduled? (Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Updates)
The Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul full fight was originally scheduled for July 20, but Tyson was forced to reschedule the boxing bout after suffering an ulcer flare-up on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on May 26, About 30 minutes before landing, the former Heavyweight champion started suffering nausea and dizziness.
Paramedics boarded the plane to help Tyson and after a later health checkup with his doctors, he was advised to cut back on his training until his condition had improved and he reschedule the fight.
In a statement after the incident, Tyson said, "Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly. I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best reschedule date for all parties."
The rescheduled Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight will still deliver the same explosive matchup, as Tyson claims: "Jake Paul is getting knocked out—no matter the date."
