About Merrimack Warriors Men's Basketball

The Merrimack Warriors men's basketball program represents Merrimack College in NCAA Division I competition as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Despite being a relatively recent transition to Division I, the Warriors quickly established themselves as a competitive program, known for their aggressive defense and fast-paced style of play. The team plays its home games at Lawler Arena in North Andover, Massachusetts, where a supportive campus community creates an energetic atmosphere. During their time in the NEC, Merrimack gained national attention by winning multiple regular-season titles and the 2023 NEC Tournament championship before joining the MAAC in 2024. The program emphasizes player development, discipline, and academic success, fostering well-rounded student-athletes while continuing to build a strong and competitive presence at the Division I level.
