MEUTE is a techno marching band from Hamburg, a dozen drummers and horn players who do the job of a DJ with acoustic instruments. The band reworks techno, house and deep house tracks for brass and drums, calling the results "reworks," and performs them on stage or directly in the crowd, with or without electricity. Variety described the combination as thrilling in ways both electronic music fans and live music audiences can get behind. MEUTE has played festivals worldwide including Sziget and, in April 2025, Coachella in California, and has performed in more than 20 countries.
