Monty Python was formed in 1969 by Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, and Terry Gilliam — five Brits and one Minnesotan — who became globally beloved through Monty Python's Flying Circus on the BBC and their groundbreaking films.
