About Pendulum

Pendulum is an Australian drum and bass band founded in Perth in 2002 by Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, and Paul "El Hornet" Harding, before relocating to the United Kingdom the following year. Their sound fuses drum and bass with hard rock, industrial, and electronic rock, and their first three albums, Hold Your Colour, In Silico, and the UK number one Immersion, all went platinum, selling more than a million copies in the UK alone. The band went on hiatus in 2012 while Swire and McGrillen focused on their electro house project Knife Party, returning in 2016. Their fourth album, Inertia, arrived in August 2025 after a fifteen-year gap, featuring collaborations with Bullet For My Valentine, Wargasm, AWOLNATION, and Scarlxrd.
