## About Rain City Drive

Rain City Drive are an American rock band from Palm Coast, Florida, who emerged from the evolution of the Sacramento post-hardcore group Slaves. All five members came from that band, which formed in 2014 and released three albums with founding vocalist Jonny Craig before he departed in 2019. Matt McAndrew, runner-up on season seven of NBC's The Voice, stepped in and became a permanent member, singing on 2020's To Better Days, the last record issued under the old name. The band renamed itself in 2021 after signing to Thriller Records, taking the name from Manchester, England, sometimes called the rainy city, where the band first met. Their self-titled album followed in July 2022, and Things Are Different Now in September 2024.
