Sadurn is a Philadelphia indie folk band whose defining quality is intimacy, built around the diary-like songwriting of G DeGroot. The project began in 2017 as a solo outlet for DeGroot, who describes songwriting as a way of processing reality, before growing into a four-piece with guitarist Jon Cox, drummer Amelia Swain and bassist Tabitha Ahnert. A cold email to Run For Cover Records led to their 2022 debut, Radiator, ten songs of spare, unguarded folk that drew comparisons to Jason Molina and Elliott Smith. In 2024 the band contributed "How can I Get Out" to the soundtrack of the A24 film I Saw the TV Glow. Their second album, The Underworld, arrives October 16, 2026.
