About Siena Saints Men's Basketball

The Siena Saints men's basketball team represents Siena University in NCAA Division I competition as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), playing home games at MVP Arena in Albany, New York. The program boasts a respected basketball tradition, with seven NCAA Tournament appearances and seven MAAC tournament championships. Notable tournament victories include wins over Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Ohio State. Most recently, the Saints won the 2026 MAAC tournament championship under head coach Gerry McNamara, earning their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2010. With a history of strong conference play and postseason success, Siena remains one of the MAAC's most historically accomplished programs and continues to compete for conference titles and a consistent presence in Division I men's basketball.
