About South Florida Bulls Men's Basketball

The South Florida Bulls men's basketball team represents the University of South Florida in NCAA Division I competition as a member of the American Athletic Conference (AAC), based in Tampa, Florida. The program has made four NCAA Tournament appearances, in 1990, 1992, 2012, and 2026, with a combined record of 2–4, and has also appeared in nine NITs and won the 2019 College Basketball Invitational. In 2025–26, under first-year head coach Bryan Hodgson, the Bulls enjoyed one of their best seasons in program history, finishing 25–8, winning back-to-back AAC regular-season titles, and claiming their first-ever AAC Tournament championship before falling to Louisville in the NCAA Tournament first round. The program plays its home games at the 10,400-seat Yuengling Center and continues to build on its growing momentum under Hodgson's leadership.
