Summer Games: Equestrian - Eventing Tickets

About Summer Games: Equestrian - Eventing

Eventing is the equestrian triathlon, a single horse and rider combination contesting three phases: a dressage test, a cross-country course over natural obstacles, and a final round of show jumping. Penalties accumulate through each phase and the lowest score wins, with team and individual medals decided from the same rounds. At the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics it opens the equestrian programme at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, the racetrack that staged the equestrian events at the 1984 Games. Alec Lochore designs the cross-country course. The schedule has been built around Southern California's summer heat, with sessions arranged to avoid the hottest hours and rest periods between phases.
