Tribes are an alternative rock band from Camden in north London, made up of singer and guitarist Johnny Lloyd, guitarist Dan White, bassist Jim Cratchley, and drummer Miguel Demelo. They signed to Island Records in March 2011 and were pushed forward by BBC Radio 1, drawing notices from NME and Artrocker and support slots with the Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs, Pixies, and the Rolling Stones. Their debut Baby arrived in 2012, and after touring the follow-up Wish to Scream in 2013 the band went on an indefinite hiatus. They regrouped in 2020 and have been active since, releasing the album Rabbit Head in 2023.
