Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler began working in the 1990s as both a stand-up comedian and comedic actor, landing small roles in major TV shows and Hollywood films from a young age, as well as a stint on Saturday Night Live (like quite a few others, he had his greatest period of success after being fired from the show!). Sandler truly hit the big time in the mid to late 1990s, becoming a huge box office draw with wacky comedies like Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, and Billy Madison. Interestingly, Sandler has expanded his range as an actor since with lead roles in more serious films such as Punch-Drunk Love and Uncut Gems, where the deftness of his performances surprised both critics and fans. In 2018, he released his first stand-up special in over twenty years, taking to the stage to film 100% Fresh, which was released on Netflix. He has since returned to the stage to tour, a rare chance for Adam Sandler fans everywhere to see one of America’s funniest actors do his thing live on stage.
