Duster is an indie rock band that formed in 1996 in San Jose, California. The group had three members, all of whom were multi-instrumentalists, until 2002 when Jason Albertini left. Now, the other two founding members continue their legacy. Duster released a few tapes, then became fully involved in the slowcore and space rock revival movement in the 1990s. They have released 5 albums, the fourth of which was a surprise release in 2022 followed by their most recent in 2024. While they went on a hiatus, they surged in popularity in 2020 due to the popularity of their songs on TikTok and reconvened to begin touring and recording again.
