Folkfaces is a roots music quartet based in New York. They play traditional and original music, which they have taken from old American music stylings. Their performances include a wide range of genres, stemming from country and blues to traditional jazz and rock and roll. Frontman Tyler Westcott founded the band in 2011 and also plays guitar, banjo, harmonica, and kazoo, along with singing for the band. The lineup has morphed over the years, but each of the current members comes from different backgrounds. They have played a variety of festivals over the year. For the last 9 or more years, they have hosted their own annual event called Folkfaces Fest, a weekend-long camping music festival.
