Hiatus Kaiyote

Hiatus Kaiyote is a little Australian band with a big following, both online and when they tour to give concerts. Consisting of Nai Palm (vocals, guitar), Paul Bender (bass), Simon Mavin (keyboards), and Perrin Moss (drums), Hiatus Kaiyote got their start when Bender spotted Nai Palm performing solo in 2010. Before long, the band was recording singles and albums, receiving endorsements from major artists like Prince and Erykah Badu. Hiatus Kaiyote has not looked back since, continuing to record music and tour internationally. Their fourth album Love Heart Cheat Code was released in late June of 2024.

Hiatus Kaiyote’s 2024 net worth and annual income

According to the Popnable, Hiatus Kaiyote’s current estimated net worth stands at about $3.3 million. The band earned this wealth through strong record sales as well as sold-out concerts, merchandise sales, and online media.

While calculating Hiatus Kaiyote’s annual income precisely is next to impossible, the fact that their songs are streamed close to 250,000 times a day (Spotify’s estimate as of July 1, 2024) means that Hiatus Kaiyote likely rakes in $1,000 daily from streaming alone, resulting in over $350,000 in annual streaming income for the band.

As for live performances, if we assume that Hiatus Kaiyote brings in something in the vicinity of $25,000 per concert, their 30 concerts in 2024 should bring in close to $1 million this year.

Considering income from merchandising, endorsements, and other sources, Hiatus Kaiyote should see a good year in 2024 that could approach $2 million in income.

Accurately measuring a band or musician’s annual income and net worth is invariably a tricky prospect due to diverse and frequently unreliable sources of ticket sales, recording royalties, assets, merchandising, and endorsements. Much financial information is also not released publicly.
