Libianca, full name Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji, is a Cameroonian-American singer who broke out in 2022 with her hit single “People.” She competed on the singing show The Voice in 2021. Libianca was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and experienced problems with immigration at the age of 4, so her family moved back to Cameroon before they could be deported. She sang in gospel choirs, attended boarding school, and learned guitar. Libianca made it to the top 20 with Blake Shelton as her coach on The Voice and several of her covers were released as singles. In 2022, she signed with a label and released her popular single. In 2023, she was the opening act for Alicia Keys on the Keys to the Summer Tour.
