Lorna Shore is a deathcore band from New Jersey that formed in 2009. They are best known for the single they released in 2021 called “To the Hellfire.” They have released 5 albums and 4 EPs since they started putting music out in 2012. The longest-lasting member joined the group in 2010, but no original members remain. When the original group formed in 2009, they were named after Batman’s love interest in the series Batman Confidential. They played around with their style and by 2012, were a progressive, deathcore group with black metal influences. They got signed in 2016 and released more music as members came and went. They have played with many death core genres, dipping into symphonic metal, progressive, and technical sounds along with black metal. Their latest release came out in 2025, and they released a music video for “Glenwood” the same day the album hit the market.
