Who is Eason Chan?
Eason Chan Yick Shun, better known by his stage name Eason Chan, is an actor, producer, as well as vocalist. He was born on July 27, 1974, in Hong Kong, and became well-known for his distinctive Cantopop, Mandarin pop, and alternative music fusion. His remarkable music career began in 1996 with his breakthrough album Gazing.
Chan rose to prominence as one of Hong Kong's most adored musicians with a string of his blockbuster albums, including Special Thanks To..., U87, and Don't Want to Let Go. He also became the most-streamed artist in Hong Kong on Spotify from 2016 to 2021. Chan was also placed sixth in the Forbes China Celebrity list in 2013.
