Before his music career, Lil Baby led a life of petty crime and drug dealing. At 19, in 2015, Lil Baby was sentenced to two years in prison for violating his probation. After being released from prison, Lil Baby turned his life around by pursuing music. With the encouragement from Kevin “Coach K” Lee, founder of Quality Control Music, he debuted his first mixtape Perfect Timing in 2017, which put him on people’s radar.
