How Did Noah Kahan Get Famous?
Noah Kahan has risen as a luminary in the contemporary folk-pop scene in 2023. The folk-pop singer, who turned 27 in January 2024, has been rejuvenating a new array of 21st-century folk songs.
Although the Vermont singer-songwriter gained acclaim in 2017 with the breakout single "Hurt Somebody," he became a folk-pop sensation when he posted a verse of “Stick Season” on TikTok in 2020 during the pandemic. The song echoed sentiments of loneliness and burnout, which resonated with many during the lockdown and quickly became a viral TikTok song.
Recent collaborations with popular artists like Post Malone (”Dial Drunk”), Hozier (”Everywhere, Everything”), and Zach Bryan (”Sarah's Place”) have also put the singer-songwriter in the spotlight.

Noah Kahan Grammy Nomination
For the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, Noah Kahan was nominated for Best New Artist. While the coveted golden gramophone ultimately went to Victoria Monét, the nomination marked a significant milestone for the singer-songwriter as it was his first Grammy nomination.
