About Guns N’ Roses
Formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, Guns N’ Roses was a merger between two bands called the LA Guns and Hollywood Rose. The band’s lineup of Axl Rose (vocals), Slash (lead guitar), Izzy Stradlin (rhythm guitar), Duff McKagan (bass guitar), and Steven Adler (drums).
After heavy campaigning for the “Welcome To The Jungle” video, the record finally started to gain some traction. Fans started to embrace the group and soon songs like “Paradise City” and “Sweet Child o’ Mine” were receiving heavy airplay with both climbing into the Top 10.
Guns N’ Roses have sold more than 100 million records (45 million in the US) and in 2012, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
