Hailing from California, Green Day is led by vocalist and lead singer - Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist - Mike Dirnt, and drummer - Tré Cool. Jason White, who has been touring with Green Day since 1999, has often performed with the band on tour and was even credited as an official member in 2012.

The band made their debut in 1987, rocking the indie scene with their first-ever record 1,000 HOURS, before going on to release their debut album 39/SMOOTH in 1990. Their success came in 1994 with the release of the DOOKIE under Reprise Records, selling over 10 million copies in the U.S. alone.

Following this breakout album, a number of Green Day songs and albums have become massive hits over the years. Including, but not limited to, American Idiot (2004), 21st Century Breakdown (2009), and Revolution Radio (2016).

While rocking the music scene and boasting over 65 million album sales, the band has won several Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Album for American Idiot in 2005, Record of the Year for “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” in 2006, and Best Rock Album in 2010 for 21st Century Breakdown. They even had a successful Broadway show titled American Idiot. Today, the band is about to bring back their timeless classics with the upcoming tour, The Saviors Tour, and reminiscent of their teenage days in California.
