j-hope launched his first solo international concert tour titled Hope on the Stage Tour. The concert tour started its run on February 28, 2025, in Seoul, South Korea to perform 31 shows across 15 cities in Asia and North America through its scheduling. The extensive tour functions as support for j-hope's studio album Jack in the Box and his extended play Hope on the Street Vol. 1.

The United States, Mexico, Philippines, Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia along with Thailand, Macau, and Taiwan are the major countries that j-hope plans to visit. j-hope established himself as the first BTS member to headline a solo stadium show.

j-hope North American Dates

The Hope on the Stage Tour began its North American journey with two special performances at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on March 13 and 14, 2025. j-hope then headed to the Midwest for two shows at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on March 17 and 18.

Currently, the tour stops in Mexico City where j-hope performs two concerts at Palacio De Los Deportes between March 22 and 23. Returning to the United States, j-hope will perform at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas on March 26 and 27, followed by two nights at the Oakland Arena in Oakland, California on March 31 and April 1.

As we mentioned earlier, the stadium tour in North America culminates by making j-hope the first member of BTS to perform a solo headlining stadium concert. j-hope will entertain audiences twice at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California on April 4 and April 6, 2025.

j-hope Asia Dates

Three consecutive shows of the Hope on the Stage Tour began at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea between February 28 and March 2, 2025. This was officially j-hope's first solo concert in his home country.

Following the North American concerts j-hope will resume his Asian tour around the mid-April timeframe. j-hope will stage two consecutive performances at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Philippines on April 12 and April 13 before he moves to Saitama, Japan to perform at the Saitama Super Arena on April 19 and April 20. The tour will continue with two nights each in Singapore (Singapore Indoor Stadium, April 26-27), Jakarta, Indonesia (Indonesia Arena, May 3-4), Pak Kret, Thailand (Impact Arena, May 10-11), Macau (Galaxy Arena, May 17-18), and Taoyuan, Taiwan (NTSU Arena, May 24-25).

The Hope on the Stage Tour will end its run with two last performances at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on May 31 and June 1, 2025.

About j-hope

Who is j-hope?

j-hope was born on February 18, 1994, as Jung Ho-seok and is a songwriter, dancer, rapper, and record producer from South Korea. He rose to international fame as a member of the globally renowned K-pop boy group BTS. j-hope has become known as "Sunshine" to fans through his extraordinary talent to brighten up every space he enters.

j-hope's debut solo mixtape, Hope World, reached position number 38 on the US Billboard 200, thereby making him the most successful independent Korean recording artist during that period. He released his official debut solo album, Jack in the Box, in 2022.

j-hope became South Korea's first music headliner to perform on the main stage during the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago in 2022.

Early Life and Background

Jung Ho-seok spent his childhood years in Gwangju, South Korea. During his childhood, he developed an intense fascination with dance which led him to join the NEURON dance crew to learn different street dance styles. His passion for dance led him to win several local competitions and eventually caught the attention of Big Hit Entertainment (now known as HYBE Labels).

j-hope joined the K-pop band BTS in 2012 after becoming a trainee to focus on his skills in rapping and dancing. From the beginning, j-hope wrestled with rap but he put in endless time studying to enhance his craft by spending late nights practicing. This dedication paid off, as he became known for his sharp dance moves and unique flow in BTS's performances and songs.
