Band Members
Milton de la Rosa (Singer)
Emilio de la Rosa (Singer)
Mike de la Rosa (Producer)
History
The band was born out of the COVID-19 pandemic (2021) when Emilio and Mike started creating videos on TikTok of themselves replicating what they did as kids performing for imaginary crowds. They were joined by their brother Milton when their popularity grew. Their first single, "Cuidad de las Lucas," was released independently in 2021, marking the official start of Latin Mafia.
Musical Style
Reggaetón, R&B, trap, and house music all come together to form a Latin Mafia's sound.
Discography
Initially, releasing singles independently, Latin Mafia are now signed to Rimas Entertainment for their later releases. Their notable singles include:
"Cuidad de las Lucas" (2021)
"Más humano" (2021)
"Julieta" (2021)
"Sal Rosa"
"Flores"
"No Digas Nada"
Their debut album, Todos Los Días Todo El Día, was released in 2024 under Rimas Music Label.
Achievements
By the time May 2022 rolled around they had sold well over 11,000 concert tickets in just minutes, selling out the 6,800 capacity at the Agustín Melgar Olympic Velodrome in Mexico City.
The group now has a staggering 874 million streams as of July 2024, which increased by 150 million from the previous month.
Latin Mafia has performed at major music festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza Argentina, Lollapalooza Chile, Colombia's Estéreo Picnic, and Mexico's Tecate Pa'l Norte.
The Grammy Awards also nominated the band for Best New Artist of the Year for 2024.
Latin Mafia announced an exclusive music deal in July 2024 with Rimas Entertainment, the same company under which major Latin artists such as Bad Bunny are signed.
Fast forward finally, to the present day. The band announced their first-ever U.S. tour, "Te Odio Y Te Extraño Mucho," set to begin in January 2025. This hopefully will be the first of many more to come.
