How Long Are Lorde Shows?

You can expect Lorde concerts to generally last between 1 hour and 30 minutes and 2 hours, but with two backup acts for each show (and three one night) and encores in this Ultrasound World Tour, expect nights closer to the 3-hour range from after doors open.

About Virgin

On June 27, 2025, Lorde released her fourth studio album, titled Virgin, through Universal Music New Zealand and Republic. The new record contains 11 songs and is 34:51 in length. Preceding its release, the singles “Man of the Year,” ”What Was That,” and “Hammer” all came out.

The Lorde album cover for Virgin features a blue-tinted X-ray of a human pelvis, which includes the image of a spine, hip bones, a belt buckle, and an intrauterine device (IUD). The cover is meant to represent female themes of transparency and vulnerability within the music and was created by famous German photographer Heji Shin.

About Lorde

Born Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor on November 7, 1996, in Auckland, New Zealand, Lorde first gained recognition as a singer when she was a teenager in a talent contest, and she eventually signed with Universal Music Group (UMG) in 2009. She exploded onto the scene in 2013 with her debut album, Pure Heroine, driven by the iconic single “Royals.”

But every song's like

Gold teeth, Grey Goose, trippin' in the bathroom

Bloodstains, ball gowns, trashin' the hotel room

We don't care, we're driving Cadillacs in our dreams

But everybody's like

Cristal, Maybach, diamonds on your timepiece

Jet planes, islands, tigers on a gold leash

We don't care, we aren't caught up in your love affair

Lorde now has four studio albums to her credit and will be embarking on her fourth tour with the Ultrasound World Tour, so she has already built a very solid career base, and this talent should be making music for two more decades. She has already won two Grammy awards, two Brit Awards, and received a nomination for a Golden Globe. Bravo.

The 28-year-old pop songstress hasn’t had many public relationships. From 2013 to 2015, she was linked with photographer James Lowe, and from 2015 to 2023, Lorde had a long-term relationship with Universal New Zealand music executive Justin Warren.
