About Wave to Earth
Wave to Earth was created when Kim Daniel and Shin Donggyu were still in middle school. They both dreamed of making music that would bring a new sound to the world. The band officially debuted on August 23, 2019, with their single "wave." Initially, the band consisted of just two members: Kim Daniel and Shin Donggyu. But in January 2020, they added a new member named Cha Soonjong, and they released their first EP, Wave 0.01.
The very name of the band, Wave to Earth, speaks of their desire to become a new wave in music and share their vision with the world. Despite being a Korean band, a majority of their songs are in English which is an important move to capture the international market.
Wave to Earth Album
By 2023, Wave to Earth produced their first full studio album, 0.1 Flaws and All, which was also successful and opened the door for a sold-out North American tour. They have also participated in many big South Korean Rock Festivals, such as the Seoul Jazz Festival and the Pentaport Rock Festival.
