Where is the 2025 US Open Golf Tournament Being Held?
The 2025 US Open Championship will take place at the Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania from June 12 to June 15. It will mark the 10th time that the US Open will have been played at Oakmont—more than any other course—in the suburb of Pittsburgh, which is located 27 miles to the northeast.
The Oakmont Country Club was established in 1903 and is generally considered the “oldest top-ranked golf course in the United States.” In 1987, it was designated as a National Historic Landmark.
The length of the course is 7,431 yards (6,795 m) and is a Par 71, except for the US Open (since 2007), where the par was lowered by a stroke to 70. Johnny Miller has the course record (63), which he shot in the 1973 US Open.
