Margo Price is a country singer/songwriter, producer, and author living in Nashville. After her solo debut album was released in 2016, she was called “Country’s next star.” The album was recorded in only three days and she then hit the road with her backup band, The Pricetags. She was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the Grammys in 2018. Price grew up in Aledo, Illinois playing piano and singing in the church choir. She studied dance and theater at Northern Illinois University and worked several jobs. When she moved to Nashville, she was a waitress, installed and removed siding, and taught dance at the YMCA. Rolling Stone Country has called her a “fixture of the East Nashville music community” and she has been the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. She’s on the board of directors for Farm Aid.
