Megadeth is a thrash metal band that was formed in 1983 by Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson. Together, they became famous with the reception of their maiden album, Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good! (1985). They further entered the spotlight with another hit album, Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? (1986). Known for their lightning-fast technical guitar skills and nihilistic lyrics, Megadeth collected a Grammy for Best Metal Performance for "Dystopia" in 2017 and has sold millions of album units worldwide.
Tour Name: Destroy All Enemies
Tour Dates: August 2 - September 28
The hard, loud rock rollers announced their forthcoming 2024 Destroy All Enemies U. S. tour schedule on April 23, 2024. The band will be taking its shows on the road this fall to 33 cities, performing for its avid fans. The team will be joined by Mudvayne and All That Remains, two other big names in the thrash metal clan. The Live Nation–produced campaign starts on August 2 in Rogers at the Walmart Amphitheater and will run into September 28 in Nashville at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
It seems the tour is set to bring stadium-quality performances of some of the band’s most popular songs, as originally recorded in Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction, as well as part of the new “The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!’ line-up.
As per the tour, Mustaine was quoted as saying, ‘It is going to be great marching through the U.S., the performance is tight, and the boys are really sticking together now.’ He stated that the most recent endeavor, which was the “Crush The World” tour, was a great experience for the band, especially as it enabled him to concentrate on his solos and singing.

The 2024 Destroy All Enemies tour will feature modern heavyweights Mudvayne and All That Remains as the opening acts. Each band on the bill brings something unique yet sonically similar enough to create an airtight package.
Mudvayne's aggressive and complex metal sound complements Megadeth's legendary style, while All That Remains adds its own blend of melodic and heavy elements to the lineup. This combination ensures that fans will experience a cohesive and powerful performance throughout the tour, echoing the successful format seen in Megadeth's previous co-headlining tours.
The crew’s list of on-set songs is known to be hinged towards aggression and complexity - and fans love them that way. Though the precise tracks they play vary according to venue, occasion, and date, it would not be remiss for attendees to expect some of their most impactful songs. Tour Name: Crush The World Tour 2023
Tour Dates: April 26 - May 15
The Crush The World Tour 2023 was launched on 26 April 2023 at Everett, Washington, and wrapped up in Halifax on the 15th of May.
The fans’ and critics’ responses were positive for all the aspects relating to the show’s quality, musicianship, and the show's heaviness. There was also admiration for accordionist Dave Mustaine’s excellent stage control and the performance of many hits in a row with incredible energy.
Some of the highpoint performances were the band’s sold-out shows at unbelievably famous theaters like First Ontario Centre in Hamilton and the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax where, for the first time, the audiences got to watch the band performances that proved why the band has been ruling the international rock circuit for over two decades.
The audience completed the set list by demanding an encore and enjoyed the technical execution of hits such as ‘Symphony of Destruction’ and ‘Peace Sells. ’ They also welcomed new songs from the recent album titled ‘The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!’ Bullet For My Valentine and Oni’s performances were also outstanding, so they contributed to the tour in a great way.
A rare few complained about ticket availability, as they claimed it was hard to get tickets for the event. Some concerns were raised that some of the shows appeared to have problems with certain acoustics in their halls, but these were rare complaints, and these do not happen frequently enough to mar the beauty of a concert.
As of 2023, Megadeth, the heavy metal band, has an amazing financial scorecard among its members. Here's a breakdown of the net worths of key members.
As the vocalist, guitarist, and principal composer of many of the songs, Dave Mustaine earns the most from the band, with an estimated net worth of $30 million. Despite pushing his band, Metallica, to the edge of a breakdown before founding Megadeth, Mustaine has received critical acclaim and commercial success.
Being a lead guitarist in Megadeth since 2015, Kiko Loureiro is an experienced musician, and his earnings prove this, with a net worth of $20 million. The co-founder, David Ellefson, had a net worth of $15 million when he left in the year 2021 due to some controversy.
Last but not least, Dirk Verbeuren, the drummer of the band since 2016, has a net worth of $5 million. Having been a member of Soilwork, he is also skilled and technical, and has fit well into Megadeth as it continues to produce studio material and put him well in the record books.
Megadeth’s other noteworthy members in the past, such as Marty Friedman, Shawn Drover, and Chris Broderick, also possess considerable net worth because of their performances while with the entourage. Both Friedman and Drover are multimillionaires; the former has a net worth of $10 million, and Drover has $10 million. On his part, Broderick has $8 million, proving the band’s long-time influence on the group as well as their financial stability.
