Mt. Joy

It has long been believed, through ancient times, that going farther in life is premeditated by the friends you have. This old saying is the story behind Mt. Joy, a five-person rock band that saw its creation in the hands of Matt Quinn and Sam Cooper.

With the five singers having their origin in Pennsylvania, the name Mt. Joy emerged as a result of a mountain that bears its roots in Sam Cooper's hometown, Philadelphia.  The mountain, situated at the Valley Forge National Park, saw the inspiration of Sam and Matt when they were freshmen in high school.

The five-person rock band, which also includes the names of Michael Byrnes, Sotiris Eliopoulos, and Jackie Miclau in the group, officially launched in 2016. Whereas Matt Quin chairs the group as the lead singer, Sam Cooper has a knack for guitar playing.

The five friends, now based in Los Angeles, have continued to participate actively in composing songs, and they're known for their professional and remarkable use of soothing tunes to get their audience into the realm of emotions.

However, with the guitar laced across the body of Sam and with Matt mastering the elements of rock music, it doesn't take long before the crowd is immersed in some rock and roll musical displays.

Mt. Joy's Upcoming Events or Tour in 2024

Mt. Joy is set to host its events in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, and North America in 2o24. The Pennsylvania-born band will look for the opener on Saturday, June 8, as they plan to tour the city of Brighton Chalk, United Kingdom, alongside Noah Kahan and Zach Bryan.

A day later, Mt. Joy will hit Bristol SWX, United Kingdom. On June 10, the beautiful city of Manchester will be on fire as Mt. Joy looks forward to having fans cheer them up.

June 13 will have Mt. Joy tour, Glasgow TV Studio SWG3 in the United Kingdom. On Saturday, June 15, the five-person band will make it to the London Roundhouse, United Kingdom.
