Nonpoint is a nu-metal band originating in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They formed in 1997 and released two independent demo albums in the 90s. Their major label debut album was released in 2000. The band is known for touring extensively and their music has appeared on soundtracks, in movies, and even in video games. They formed their own record label, 361 Degrees Records, in 2021. The group originally played in an aggressive tone but moved on to more melodies when their label pressured them to make changes.
