The Interrupters are a ska punk band from Los Angeles, California that formed in 2011. They have released four studio albums as of 2022. The band is comprised of guitarist Kevin Bivona, drummer Jesse Bivona, bassist Justin Bivona, and lead vocalist Aimee Interrupter. The three brothers in the band were traveling with their band Telacasters in 2009 when they met Aimee Allen, who was a solo artist at that time. They started writing songs with her and then formed The Interrupters. Since their former band was already touring with Sugar Ray and The Dirty Heads, they had contacts in the industry and started off touring with Left Alone, The Transplants, and other such groups. Once they released their self-titled debut album in 2014, they went on their own tour, taking on the U.S., Europe, Australia, and more.
