Knockdown Center is a dynamic cultural venue known for its significant architectural features, including a 20,000-square-foot main hall and an area called The Ruins. Since its establishment in 2013, it has hosted a wide range of musical and visual arts events, with performers like LCD Soundsystem and Yung Lean gracing its stage. The venue, often compared to Manhattan's The Kitchen for its avant-garde offerings, originally served as a glass factory and later a door manufacturing company, known for inventing the "knock-down frame." After lying vacant from 2010, the space underwent renovations and reopened in 2016, to become a celebrated spot in NYC's arts scene.
Over the years, Knockdown Center has hosted many entertainment events since its inception. Its versatility allows it to be the stage for various performances and sports events. Given its history, the venue is set to continue attracting notable artists and sports performers. Several artists and sports events have already announced their performance shows for this year.
