Omaha Mining Co

Since the late 60s, the Omaha Mining Company, also known as “The Run'' has been a home for Omaha’s gay community. Omaha Mining Co has always been that gay spot in Downtown Omaha, and today, it hosts events and shows to bring the LGBTQIA community together.

The bar hosts music concerts where musicians perform to get the crowd excited. In addition, Omaha Mining Co. sets up events every week where members come around for a good time. For instance, every Wednesday, the bar is filled with fun, laughter, and music because it is Omaha Mining Co.’s Karaoke Night.

Omaha Mining Co. is one of the lively spots in Nebraska because of its history and the concerts it hosts from time to time. In March 2024, Drag performers will be on stage for the Taylor Swift: The Eras Drag Show.

Omaha Mining Co. also hosts its Mineshaft events from time to time. The bar sets a theme for these events and arranges activities based on the theme. In February 2023, it held an Underwear Raffle event and Underwear Night. If you missed those, you can still attend many other themed events this year. For instance, Fun and Leather Night and Kink Night will be held at the bar in March 2024.
