Whiskey Myers is a rock and roll band with six albums, the latest of which came out in 2022. Whiskey Myers hails from Palestine, Texas, and released their debut album in 2008. Their second album followed in 2011 and made the Top 30 on the Country charts, mostly due to the single “Ballad of a Southern Man. Whiskey Myers started when friends Cody Cannon and John Jeffers started learning to play the guitar together. Cannon’s co-worker Cody Tate joined and they got serious about starting a band. They enlisted friend Jeff Hogg for drums and Gary Brown, Cannon’s cousin, for Bass and started playing shows around the area. Slowly, but surely, Whiskey Myers gathered a local following in the Texas and Red Dirt Scene. They were featured in four episodes of the TV series following Yellowstone in 2018.
