Brit Floyd

Brit Floyd is Pink Floyd tribute band from Liverpool, England. The band got together in 2011 and is considered one of the most authentic tribute bands in the whole world. Live shows recreate the sound of Pink Floyd’s concerts, which has led to great success for the tribute band. Damian Darlington hand-picked musicians for the group after spending 17 years as the musical director of the “Australian Pink Floyd Show”. Occasionally, some of the shows feature guest musicians that appeared on Pink Floyd’s road and studio line-ups.

Brit Floyd Upcoming Concerts

Since Brit Floyd has 43 concerts in countries all over the world this year, they are busy traveling and have not yet announced additional appearances. Check back with TicketX for updates and announcements.

Brit Floyd Tour 2024 Review

Cleve Rock reviewed the Brit Floyd concert from May 29th at an outdoor venue and reported the concert performance has received widespread acclaim. Since the band is known for meticulous recreation of Pink Floyd experiences, it’s no surprise that fans felt they were at an authentic concert. The performance was described as immersive and memorable. The concerts are not just musical, but complete performances with lights, costumes, and the works.

While Brit Floyd it touted to be one of the best tribute bands ever, they still aren’t Pink Floyd. Some fans don’t like that the group capitalizes on their favorite songs while others are disappointed that the show is authentic, but still not completely real.

TicketX will have updates on the tour throughout the year, so check back to see if any 2024 dates are added near you!

Brit Floyd 2024 Net Worth and Annual Income

Guitar Reviewed states that Pink Floyd is worth over $800 million. While Brit Floyd is good at what they do, they have not pulled in nearly as much to add up to a net worth of that quality.

Net worth in general is difficult to figure as much financial information is private. With tribute bands, they make money from concerts, appearances, and merchandising, all of which are hard to draw upon. One thing that differentiates them from original bands is that they can’t make money from streaming as none of the songs are theirs.

Cover bands don’t generally make that much money per concert, but successful tribute bands, like Brit Floyd can pull in more than $10,000 per concert. Since they have 43 concerts on the books, they should make at least $430,000 from appearances this year.

This band also charges for special appearances, which can net them anywhere from $10,000-$50,000. Those appearances are not listed, so it is impossible to say how much they have made in that area.

Merchandising will also help the band to make money, but again, those figures are not readily available.

It is safe to say that Brit Floyd will make well over $500,000 in 2024.
