Lamb of God is a heavy metal band originating in Richmond, Virginia. They formed in 1994 and called themselves Burn the Priest. They are significant in the American heavy metal movement. They have released eleven studio albums, which include two under the “Burn the Priest” name. In 2014, a documentary called As the Palaces Burn was released featuring the band.
