Huntsville, Alabama, is excited to welcome a new music festival, South Star Festival. It is being touted as one of the largest and most world-class festivals in the South this coming fall.
The event is set to take place at the city's sprawling John Hunt Park complex on September 28-29. More than 20 artists will be featured across 2 days, including sensational headliners Gwen Stefania and Blink-182 alongside Shinedown, Beck, and many others.
Though South Star Festival 2024 is an inaugural event, it is one rock anthem and nostalgic pop fans won't want to miss.

South Star Festival is the first major festival in Huntsville, where the annual Big Spring Jam ended in 2011. There hasn't been a major musical festival ever since.
Huntsville is home to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, which has made a serious commitment to bringing more music, culture, and entertainment to its rapidly growing city.
The exciting news of C3 Presents producing the multi-genre festival will surely get fans busy purchasing tickets. C3 has produced the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas and Lollapalooza in Chicago, drawing a combined 2 million attendees annually.
According to Matt Mandrella, the Huntsville Music Officer, the scale and quality of the festival will elevate the city's music landscape. Fans can be excited about having a swell time in Huntsville!

On April 23, the South Star Festival lineup for 2024 was finally published—and this year, the festival also offers amazing highlights. The two-day music festival scheduled for September 28 and 29 will see Blink-182 and Gwen Stefani headlining the lineup, with performers such as Jane's Addiction and Jimmy Eat World completing the star-studded lineup. There's no official announcement about airing the maiden edition of South Star Festival, but the event will feature a sports bar on site that will allow festival goers to catch the biggest football games without leaving the park.
