Milwaukee Metal Fest 2025
Dates: May 15-18, 2025
Milwaukee Metal Fest premiered in 1989 as one of the first festivals focusing on heavy metal. It was developed by two young metalheads from the local area, Jack Koshick and his brother.
As the years passed, it became one of the most important metal events, where numerous famous bands such as Slayer, Cannibal Corpse and Lamb of God put on their best shows. However, it is important to mention some failures and problems, such as occasional change of locations, which, nevertheless, cannot obscure the fact that the festival remains a powerful evidence of the metal music’s eternity.

Maryland Deathfest 2025

Spanning over 4 days, the festival is loved by metalheads around he world. Maryland Deathfest (MDF) is an outdoor festival of extreme metal music, taking place in Baltimore, Maryland, every May during the city’s Memorial Day weekend. Ludwig van Lipizzitz brought about the idea in 2003, but the entire event was run by Ryan Taylor and Evan Harting. Deathfest has hosted nearly 800 bands from 35 different nations, with acts from virtually all forms of metal sub-genres.

Sick New World 2025
Dates: April 12, 2025
The Sick New World Festival focuses on rock and heavy metal, drawing together multiple generations of bands that know how to put the pedal to the metal and get audiences jumping with soaring vocals, squealing guitars, and thudding drum solos. The 2024 edition features a stacked lineup of acts ranging from bands who made their names in the heavy metal Golden Age of the 1980s to modern acts who will continue to carry the hard rock torch into the future.
While not much information has been released about the 2025 edition, Metallica is confirmed to be headlining the festival on April 12, 2025.

New England Metal & Hardcore Festival 2025
The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival has just wrapped up its 25th anniversary run on September 21-22, 2024. Keep the momentum going in 2025 and keep an eye out for tickets as soon as they are released to get the best deals.
Blue Ridge Rock Festival
Another legendary rock and metal festival was the Blue Ridge Rock Festival, which is among the biggest American metal festivals in regard to the number of bands that perform there. Note: The Blue Ridge Rock Festival, which was scheduled for 2024, has been called off as the organizers remain to sort out some issues of the previous year’s show.
Anyone who bought a 2024 ticket will receive a refund while the issue of the 2023 cancellation continues to be addressed.
