Medium Build is the stage name for Nicholas Carpenter, a singer/songwriter. He works with Island Records and has released 5 studio albums throughout his career. Medium Build started out playing music in church in Georgia, but he moved to Nashville at 21 to study songwriting in college. He interned with Disney Publishing and wrote songs for indie rock artists. In 2016, he started performing as Medium Build when he moved to Alaska. His debut album came out that same year with a second in 2018. His first charting song came in 2023 and he toured with Tyler Childers and the Mule Pull ‘24 Tour this year.
