The Revivalists is a rock group that got together in 2007 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The eight-piece band was named one of the “10 Bands You Need to Know” in 2015 by The Rolling Stone magazine. Their 2016 song “Wish I Knew You” went to number one on the Alternative Songs charts and was certified platinum. Several other singles went number one as well. The Revivalists started with the guitarist met the vocalist and struck up a conversation. They started to play together as a duo, then added other members and played their first show at Checkpoint Charlie’s Laundromat/Bar. During their career, they average 150 concert dates each year.
